Pinning Exercise

Post by matt321 »

Took the Dovo ebony scales off the Marke Solingen and put them on a big 6/8 Case Temperite with pins (not hex fasteners). The Marke Solingen got a set of scales from a vintage rust bomb from the bay that I won for $5.

Thanks. At least they are pinned, they're tight, and they close centered. Also, the pins, modest as they are, look better than the originals.

Both razors are user grade. Bought for $20 to $30, cleaned, and sharpened. No buffing or custom scales.
