Which straight razor did you use today?

Hess Fortyfour Stainless 6/8 in mother-of-pearl scales. This is a delightful old razor. It was NOS when I found it, and had to pay a bit of a premium for it, but was totally worth the effort. One of my favorites.

Oscar, unfortunately, that has been my experience also. I love the straights. There have been some very informative and detailed discussions here in the past, including Tony Miller, Tim Zowada, Glen Mercurio, Chris Moss, maybe even Lynn Abrams if memory serves correctly, and several others whose names and reputations are well known in straight razor circles. I think maybe those folks stop by occasionally to see if there are any threads here that they might be interested in, but aside from you, Ron (ZOT!), Chris Moss, and me, very few guys around these parts are posting here. I'm not giving up! I'm really glad that you have been posting your daily shave photos. The razors and brushes are of great interest to me, and very nice to see.
