This is my wife's Grandfathers razor. He was born in 1900 and to put thing into perspective my wife and I are 66 years old. It's been stored in a chest in Montana since 1966. Excellent shave this morning.

This morning I used the freshly sharpened Hart 6/8 razor. I do like the way it feels in the hand and on the face. This is because it's a quarter hollow. Doesn't make any sound. Nice razor.

Thanks. I wanted to come up with something that had the appearance of being slightly "over built". I'm not a real big fan of synthetics but this is a good brush or at least is to my liking. The color is called black and yellow Damascus. I drilled an oversized hole and set it just deep enough so the fibers touched the side of the hole (26mm knot).
