Thanks David. Glen in Idaho (known as Gssixgun here on SMF and on SRD) restored the yellow wedge and polished and made new scales for the other one. These old razors along with a few others will be given to my son and grandson one of these days.

That etching is deep and crisp. There's very little hone wear and no rust. makes me wonder if it wasn't used much if any. This doesn't explain why the old handle was broken and tied with string, many decades ago.

Tomorrow's going to be the 6th shave with the old W&B wedge, post restoration. It feels pretty good coming off the strops, for what that's worth.

Today I used the Wedge. It didn't happen yesterday as planned. The result was very good. It seems that the edge is holding up well, considering I always have a full 3 pass shave with my straight razors, as well as the others.
