Worth it
Worth it
I hope this is ok for this section. In helping my mom clean her house we found three straights that are in pretty rough shape. But I'm curious and would like to get more knowledgeable opinions. I know the hands on is typically best, but not sure if anyone is in the Houston, Tx area. The red point looks to have paint or nail polish on the scales, any idea how to remove it without damaging the scales? The amber scaled one has writing on the blade, "extra hollow ground" plus more that I can't quite make out. How do I clean it up with out losing the writing? I can't find anything on the other at all. I appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Re: Worth it
Hard to say Bruce, resizing the photos (making them smaller) would be helpful.
