strop nicks

Post by malocchio »

small nicks on my new strop.....not sure what sandpaper grit to use, 800- 1000 ??...As soon as the leather is smooth I will treat the sanded area with Venetian shoe cream, that's what I have been using since the 1960's, and it's the only cream Horween Leather uses...Also, any good and affordable honing services around , I dulled my Kamisori....

Here's the guy you're looking for. http://www.gemstarcustoms.com/ His name is Glen and he is the senior moderator over at Straight Razor Place. Super nice guy who can do anything you want done to your razors, including sharpening. He's restored several of my old razors, and I personally recommend Glen to anyone with no reservation.
