You can indeed download it, though it's a bit of a pain. Download djvu viewing software here, http://www.lizardtech.com/download/dl_d ... atform=win
It's like a higher compression pdf.
Then you can view the .djvu file available for download when you hit the print button on the books site.

I just purchased a copy of this that was revised in 1999. Some of the illustrations look very familiar.

Hey, Oscar,

I bought my copy through a technical book store. It was a special order and it set me back far more than I think it should have.

The Delamar Learning web site has it listed for half what it cost me. And be careful. I'm still trying to get it sorted out, but I think they foisted an older copy of this on me.

Thanks... I think I'll download the info from the link Jeff put in his thread above. The size of the file is no biggie. I'll just download it to an external Hard Drive and put it on a CD later. If it's worth it, I'll print it and put it in a binder.

The more info I can get the more I enjoy this hobby, past time, addiction, (pick an acronym) DISORDER...

Yeah, I know what you mean, Oscar. It hooked me to the point where I'm actually learning how to barber. I'd applied to what I believe was the last Barbering School in Canada for admission Septemeber last only to recieve a letter March last telling me the course had been cancelled. Fortunately I have a good relationship with my barber (and a first class barber she is) who's teaching me how to cut hair. I got the textbook to study the technical aspects of the trade.

The situation where I live in Canada is bizarre. There is no Barber Board, no exams and no Barber Association. Anyone can hang a shingle and be a barber. The sad thing is that some people are actually doing that. It's a pity. Barbering really is becoming a lost art.
