Name: My name's John, I've played the drums for 11 years, and a family friend called me Bonzo, in honor of John Bonham. So, it stuck.

Signature: I'll admit it, I'm a nerd, and knowledge/education is important to me.

I'm one of a few people on this forum that used the Simpsonizer website a few months back to create a vague resemblance of me. In my case, it's not that accurate -- I'm not that good looking.
My nickname is a combination of my initials and the perfect pitch for an instrument to be in-tune -- A440.

Well....I'm sure you'll all be shocked to learn that my username is in fact my name!

My avatar is a photograph of myself, taken in the hills of Monte Carlo, Monaco while on holiday there last September.

My username is my first initial and a derivation of my last name.

My picture is emblem of the Rebel Alliance from Star Wars. Yes, I am that geeky.

The "Nocturne" nickname is linked to my cyclical insomnia and my love for darkish artworks, music and literature. The avatar represents Arsene Lupin, the iconic french "gentlemen thief".

BTW, do not jump to the conclusion that I am some kind of gothic kleptomaniac frog...

My nickname and Avatar are obviously linked and are not a rampant attempt at nationalistic fervour....well ok they are, but not to upset or offend other nationalities. Its a small gesture directed at all the people in Britain (the Labour government included) who seek to deny the existence of the country known as England and the heritage that goes with it, of which I am immensely proud and not ashamed....Sometimes you just have to stand up and be counted.
My signature appealed to the inner child in me :D .

You'll be pleased to know, then, that the assembly at my son's (Florida) school yesterday began with a rendition of God Save the Queen. They got the words a bit mixed up, something about my country 'tis of thee, but it's nice to know the empire can still strike back...

I'm glad to hear it. I hope they got the words and music out of sync which is obligatory when England play football.

Mine is of Hugh Laurie potraying Bertie Wooster from the BBC series 'Jeeves & Wooster.' It's one of my favorite BBC comedies and I love all of the attention to detail the producers put into making the series. All of the clothing and shaving stuff is spot on for that period. And to watch the care that Jeeves takes with Berties clothing and grooming is pretty cool. Makes me wish I had a valet.

My sig is something that one of my college English professors, Dr. Joe Davis from the University of Memphis, would always say in class. Don't know if he was the first to use it, but it seems to fit a large portion of the population. Especially when you consider that half the people you meet are below average.
Some people are raised and others are just jerked up.

In an amazing flash of brilliance, using the quick-thinking intellect that three years of law school brings, I decided upon alabamalawyer -- because I am a lawyer and live in Alabama. Now take a few minutes to really soak all of that complexity in :D

No avatar yet. Just haven't felt like looking around for one. But is someone can locate the scales of justice, let me know.

UPDATE: Thanks Oscar. Avatar looks great. Another assist from a quality gentlemen on this board.

I always wanted an avatar of a rubber duck with shave lather on its face and now I have it. My nickname? Can't remember anymore why I chose it, but I now wish I chose a real masculine nickname like "Scrapyard Ape".

My name is Jim and I am a Reverend. It's also a nod to Christopher Lloyd's character on Taxi.

Actually it is one of those mail order ordinations that anyone can get just by sending thier name to the church but I have leagally married about twenty couples. I am one of the few people around that can say that they married a sibling and not be from Arkansas.

My avatar is one of the goofy crocs from the comic strip "Pearls Before Swine". I like the crocs.

My sig is just a quote that I believe has a lot of merit.

If anyone here is from Arkansas, I was just kidding!

That reminds me, you might be interested in the Chiseldon Local History Group's Publications on the history of the army camps at Chiseldon and Ogborne St George. You can contact the author at davidwbailey1067@btinternet.com

I hadn't known of the rifle butts at Lower Upham or the practice trenches at Snap.

Avitar is a signed SI cover of Danny Wuerffel one of the greatest Florida QB's ever. The first part of my sig is from the Basketball and Football championships Florida won recently.

The other part you will have to ask Art directly. Or if you are smart enough you will find it on your own.
