Traditional Wetshaving on Heroes

Tonight...pretty cool! Guy lathered up with a brush, threw a blade in his DE and shaved away!

Yeah, I saw that. Kept trying to see what type of brush, blade and razor he was using.

It looked like a Parker razor to me. Pretty cool.

Also cool was the fact that in the next scene, a different guy (HRG) was shown sitting in a limo with little pieces of tissue on his face. The passenger tells him to get a proper razor. :)

Brush looks like a Shavemac 22368. Wonder what happened to the guy in Iraq that I sent one of mine to? Hope he's OK.

Now see, I was all excited to post about this today, but did not have a chance to get to a computer till now....you guys beat me to it!

The Razor looked like a Weishi to me, but it is a Parker.....the blade was easy...7am....brushes I know nothing about.....but what I want to know is what soap!

you only see it for a split second....white soap in a dark wooden bowl.....there are many possibilities

Interesting...how was this worked into the story? Why did they show him shaving? Is he a good guy or a villain? :)
(obviously I don't watch it)

It was the opening scene the shaving was to have the character distracted while someone sneaks into his flat. It could have been some other activity maybe one of the writers reads SMF :D

The character is a villain; the actor was also a villain in season 1 of 24 and season 1 of Damages.

Zeljko Ivanek is the shaver. Good actor, recently working on HBO's "True Blood."
