Somersets shave oil

Post by growler »

Anyone here ever try this stuff? I saw it for the first time ever, and am wondering if it's worth trying. I hate the Anthony oil, and am not too fond of the KoS one either.

I tried it once, no good, it just greases up your skin and feels a little mentholy.

Thanks for the responses.

And, Chris, you are one of two people who know what is meant by "growler." The other is the one who gave me the handle.

Growler: I've used it and like it as a pre-shave, though not quite as much as I like Pacific Shave Oil for the same purpose. Best, John.
