Sterling Trucks? No Big Loss.

Kodachrome film is what brought color pictures in numbers to National Geographic, Time, and Life magazines. Remember the Paul Simon song, "Mama don't take my Kodachrome away?"

Or for that matter, the Beach Boys song about the GTO?

Hummer? It's sad comment on our society and the current state of affairs that the thing ever was released on the market and sold in any quantity in the first place.

Rufus, GTO was by Ronny & the Daytonas! It was one of my first 45s. Fond memories.

Wow. I had no idea that so many things went under.

Then again, I hadn't even heard of half of those things on that list. That said, it's a damn shame we're losing so much.
