Please be on the lookout for a Private Message from a "Friend" named MannInBlackk. At best it is spam. At worst it is a scam. The site is noted as unsafe.

Moderators: please follow up.

:?: Does the link in your post have any significance (i.e is it what detected the problem on your computer), or is it the location of the Spam/Scam Message. If it is the location, it should be disabled. Wouldn't want anyone to accidently open the link. :?:

If anyone else gets this, please let me know. I will send the member a PM asking him that it is not polite to send such a message unless there was a prior relationship. If he is not contributing and is only sending PMS, well, we may have to be a bit less understanding.

Sam, I also got this exact PM. I don't know who this person is and I don't trust clicking on the link he supplied. My computer is clean since I am fanatical in keeping it that way.

I received one marked 11:05 pm (i.e. EST). Of course it's a scam, as I have not been on this forum in some time, and thus my computer could not affect SMF with "virus activity."

I just noticed this message sitting in my inbox this morning. At first I was a bit concerned, not knowing wether it was my home computer or the one at work, then I saw the link and realized it was just spam.

The spammer has been deleted but some of his PM's are still out there. If you should be the happy recipient of said PM's just delete it.
