A moment to say thanks

Post by function »

I posted a FT looking to move a pack of vintage Gillette blades in exchange for modern ones. Instead one of our Canadian brethren decides to send me this out of the kindness of his heart:

The generosity, both of material and knowledge, the members of this board provide is unparalleled.

Thank you Just Looking

and thanks to SMF in general

Thankfully Just Looking appears to be from Calgary, so I don't have to worry about my Penguins kicking him in the gut after he was kind to me.

Now that was a fine gesture! That's a lot of good blades!

Geez,

You try to be nice to a guy and he hits you where it hurts 8)

I will admit to being a Flames fan. Have been since day one. They started the season very well but couldn't keep it together. Oh well.

I hope you enjoy trying some of the different blades. I must have tried 30 different ones when I first started out.

FYI I purchased the red Gillettes from Vietnam.
They worked very well for me over there. Not so much here in the dry climate. I think they are the same as the Rubies.
I paid around 4 dollars for 110.

A friend of mine who is also new to DE shaving will also be the beneficiary of this kind act, I would bring him on the board, but he is not the message board type.

The Flames won't be down too long, tough years make the better ones feel better when they come. 2001-2006 were tough here for Pens fans.
