Newbie

Post by southpawshaver »

Greetings,
Bradley A (aka Southpaw shaver). I am a new member, new to the world of DE wet shaving. I just purchased a used Gillette Fat Boy and Flair Tip.
Looking forward to my first shave. I hail from the Natural State Arkansas.
I am originally from the Chicago suburbs which seems like a lifetime ago.
I am currently out to pasture with a SSI disability.
Great to be here.

Hi Bradley, and welcome.

Assuming your razors are in good shape, then you have a very nice start to DE shaving.

Hoping you have a brush of some kind, and a good soap or cream to go with it.

Happy shaving!

Welcome, Bradley. Looking forward to hearing how the DE journey treats you. It's certainly been kind to me, and along the way I've enjoyed the good companionship here at SMF.

I'm also a new fish and on SSD myself. So I have the time to see all the really neat stuff out there.

It's useless to tell you to "take it easy". You are well and truly in it now. Good luck with this new life style!
