Theres a barber shop here in CT. that is called Roosters. Not sure if it is a chain or not. They offer shaves and someone gave me a gift certificate so I tried a shave. It was ok done with a gillette 5 blade, many steamed towels and cold towels. One of the things used was a pre shave oil that has eucalyptus, olive, almond and jojoba oil plus aloe vera and vitamin E. It is very good. I bought a bottle at (get this) $10.00 for 8 ounces in a pump bottle.
For that price it's worth a try. I would skip their shave however.
