Is there a sticky that explains the abbreviations used on the site ie: PIF etc

Hi Johnny -

There is a sticky in the ShaveMyFace University about Straight Razors, Moss Scuttle, and Acronyms. Scroll down a bit for the acronyms. I might note, however, that more of them have come into use since that list was compiled: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=5333

PIF = Pay It Forward. This is someone offering something they no longer use to someone else, typically for free. It is an act of generosity forward in recognition of past generosity received.

Good question. There was a book/movie a few years ago that seems to have been the origin of the acronym PIF, and it was based on the concept of a play on the old phrase "pay it back". except instead of giving something "back" to the individual to whom the debt or obligation was owed, payment was given "forward" to a different person as a way of honoring someone's past generosity and sacrifice by "paying it forward" --- PIF.
