Some time ago, I commisioned a re-knotting job to Lee Sabini. Yes, my second Rubberset 400-3. I started the restoration, my friend Mac did the handle polishing, and Lee has re-knotted it. I know it has been a nightmare for Lee doing this special custom order. Did take 5 tries to get it right. I have been waiting 6 months, but he has been so kind to send also the 1XL brush.

Here a pic from Lee, when it was finished at his workshop.

Here some pics at home.

A few days ago I was cooking with some essential oils from Manuel, of that soap which I loved. For the shaving mafia here.
Image

And today Manuel and I have meet to lunch at a fancy restaurant of a beach club on the coast of Barcelona, facing the sea. And I've came at home with this, and something more, essential oils of Honeysuckle, Roses, and Floral, for cooking more shea butter for the shaving mafia here.
Image

Note that we have the Honeysuckle soap thanks to the suggestion of a member of the mafia, the great Bender, before summer we asked to Manuel, and Manuel has surprised us with it now in the fall.

I'm curious to try those Triton R3 blades, Juan. Have you used them yet? Could you share some thoughts on them?

I know it doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the blades, but the packaging is extremely attractive!

You are too kind, Juan! I accept your generous offer, but perhaps we'll take care of it when the other item comes through?

I had gotten down to my last 2 pucks of soap (except for my stash of Arko which I use exclusively in my travel kit)... Well last month I had a 2 week business trip to Germany and came back with a good supply of Speick and Palmolive sticks, a tube a Speick cream and a puck of Tabac in the matching dish. Paid drug store prices. Of course shipping (via United Airlines baggage) was outrageous, but the company covered that cost..
