A large Moss Classic scuttle and an Ayars Waterfall lathering bowl from Sara Bonnyman are coming. I'll probably sell my smaller Classic scuttle now, since I've found that I just prefer the larger ones.

Very nice indeed. I have a small Moss Scuttle and wouldn’t be without it.

Another bottle of Penhaligons Lords aftershave, Floris Original Gentlemen Cologne, Penhaligons Eau de Verveine, 30ml of Creed Royal English Leather, a vintage 50ml bottle of Penhaligons Enligsh Fern (from the 90s I believe), vintage bottle of Eua Sauvage, vintage splash bottle of Penhaligons Blenheim Bouquet (2001) and three small vintage 5ml bottles of Penhaligons Limes, Eau Sans Pareil, Esprit du Roi and Esprit de Lavande.

A Delta Echo Gillette New SC in black chrome & copper finish

And a couple NOS mug refills of vintage C&E Lavender shaving soap, which I suspect is tallow-based. I'll probably keep one and sell one.

After all the praise on some of the shaving forums about the Raw Shaving RS-10 razor, and then the commotion when the artisan announced that he was out of business and no longer selling, I just had to try one of them. I was able to find one, so it's on its way.

A custom UFO Kaiser Red Bronze razor handle is on the way.

And, after scraping together enough cash and having a very generous seller, a Plisson Plexi 20 HMW. My Rooneys are great, but I've missed having one of these vintage Plissons.

My skin does not tolerate cologne or eau de toilette very well, but I've had good luck using some of them recently just on pulse points after my shower, so I thought I'd try some more. I have 3 vintage Trumper eaux de toilettes coming now - Eau de Quinine (spicy, aromatic, citrus, green), West Indian Limes (citrus, conifer), and Portugal (citrus, musky, fresh).

I just bought this Floris brush (the brush hasn't arrived yet). Anyone know who could have made this?

Beautiful brush. It reminds me of a Simpsons.

Looks like a duke 2 but I think at one stage Plisson was making a number of Simpson copies for floris.

A Bob's Razor Works handle came today, with a Gillette New LC head. The handle is shorter and lighter (69mm/23g) than I expected, but I'm looking forward to trying it.

Nothing too exotic or expensive today.
The problem with glycerine is that it's so thick that it's hard to dispense a few drops at a time. If you pour it from the original bottle a lot of it dribbles down the side of the bottle. A stand-alone dropper no longer reaches the level of the glycerine, plus you'd have to rinse and wipe the dropper.
I could not easily find an integrated dropper bottle either.
Then I saw these little plastic bottles at the drugstore checkout display, 3 for $1.99.
Press down on one side of the cap to expose an opening just small enough to dispense one drop at a time.
Tah-dah!
It worked perfectly.

A bit of science trivia:
Image
The refractive index of liquid water is 1.333.
For air it is 1.00029.
For glycerin it is 1.473, which is why a bottle of it looks so different from water even though it is equally transparent.
