Thank you for your help, so that this project delayed over a year, finally could go ahead. And also for your blind confidence in the good results. Without your support, would not be possible, David.

You're more then welcome, my friend. It was my pleasure.

Well, my gloves.

To touch delicately these cute little things. This is a long awaited project, which began in November 2013 and has seen the light in November 2014, with the help of five friends. One of them, David, in Portugal.

Congrats Juan! They're obviously worth the wait. The workmanship is remarkable. Definitely a prized possession for the 6 fortunate friends.

Arrived late last week:
The BK8 is definitely SMF's fault... I was never too curious about the Kent's until I started browsing around here. Shame on all of you!

Juan, it's a beauty. After you've had a while to get used to it please jump to the Safety Razor forum and let us know what you think of it.

I don't buy a lot of safety razors, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity given by a member of the Portuguese forum, to acquire a NOS Mulcuto Schrägschnitt:
I used it today for the first time, and it proved itself a very effective yet reasonably mild slant. I generally enjoy slants, due to the higher blade rigidity and improved effectiveness, and this one was still a very pleasant surprise.

I recently acquired a Plisson Horn HMW 2-Band Size 20, but only started using it last week.
This brush was a special request to Mr. Viart, and I believe the last pic in particular speaks volumes about the badger hair quality on this particular knot.
Here it is alongside a Plisson synthetic:

David, what a beauty. I really like the simplicity of the design.

Thanks, Gary. I actually find it more beautiful live then in the pictures I'd seen - mine do it no justice either.

That is one gorgeous brush!
I wanted a Plisson pearl grey synthetic, but the website wouldn't take my $. I recently acquired one on a b/s/t.
Review will follow somewhere. Maybe just in passing since it's not exactly fresh out of the gate.

Thank you, Brian and Gary! This has been a very strong brush week, even for someone who suffers from SBAD like me. There were 2 other additions that also arrived this week, that I'll have to post later on.
