Trip to the Beauty Supply store

We have a mom and pop beauty supply store here in town and I stop by every once in a while. They carry a few men's shaving items. Today I bought a bottle of Lucky Tiger Aspen A/S and a big tub of Stephan's brushless shaving cream. I remember the Stephan's from years ago but don't remember if I liked it or not. Since I've been on a experimental cartridge kick lately, I thought I would give it a try. I've never tried the Aspen A/S. Hope I like it. Its a big bottle.

Basil,
Can't speak to the Aspen A/S, but several gentlemen here are fans of the
Stephans Brushless cream. My barber carries it so maybe one day I'll try it.

I have used the Lucky Tiger Aspen A/S twice now. The scent is an attempt at spice but I don't think they succeeded very well. I detect a chemical smell. BUT, It is a very nice splash when it comes to face feel. Not too much burn and it makes my face feel good after it dries. Since the scent doesn't last long, I can live with it because of the nice face feel. I will continue to use it. Probably won't buy any more, however.

Here are the ingredients:

SD Alcohol 40, Water, Propylene Glycol, Fragrance, FD & C Blue No. 1.

Pretty much so but without the menthol.
