New Schick Krona

Post by kennethj »

So far my impression is that the Krona is a gentle smooth razor. I think there is an adjustment period for me coming from a Merkur HD. Results on the cheeks have been very smooth. Only problem area I have is on the neck and below the chin. I do a one pass shave N-S. I might need to do a second pass on the cheeck and lower chin, going across the grain. Any other suggestions ?

A with-the-grain pass with a milder razor will usually reveal a few areas that might need some across-the-grain touching up. (Or a full or partial second across-the-grain pass instead of just touchup.) I'm glad to hear you are enjoying the Krona.

Sounds good Ken, yes, some cross cutting should clear up those patchy areas. Just remember comfort first, you're already shaving closer than most people you will meet.
