The Edwin Jagger Kelvin is a marvelous razor. The short handle is my favorite thing about it. I have two iKon Tuckaway handles that I love -- they're no longer in production and I cherish them. You are doing this transition very well, in my opinion. Your work on getting a satisfactory lather is very good -- I'm hoping you continue to find wet shaving fun and satisfying.

I went through a period of shaving with electrics too -- not good. The turning point for me was when I realised that shaving could be a lovely ritual. I don't mean to go all hippie or anything, but my shaving time has become a sanctuary for me -- a time dedicated to nothing but the ritual.

It works for me.
