Greg, the best way to post photos here at SMF is to resize them to a maximum of 800 on one side before posting them. As you can see, I've resized only one of your photos posted above as an example for you. This photo doesn't seem to show much shaving gear. :)

If I took a picture of my shave den, it would consist of the brush I've been using daily for the past 4 months and the tube of shaving cream I've been using for the last 10 days. The razor is in a drawer below. All the rest is stuffed in some plastic bins in the closet and some cigar boxes in a drawer. Not a very pretty picture, I'm afraid. I was able to click and drag around with your enormous photos enough to see most of what you posted. As I said earlier, I saw the brushes and razors, etc., and I like what you've gathered.

Greg, I'm not trying to be flippant or patronizing. I am not a techie. For example, I googled that question, and up popped about 21,200,000 results. There are tons of websites that one can use to resize their photos for posting in discussion boards. I have previously been told by other members that my way is too complicated and out of date, and their suggestions are so much better, so I just do it the same old way every time, but I'm not technical-minded enough to describe in words how I do it. I do know I use Microsoft Office Photo manager, or some such name that I never can remember. Then I use PostImage to get the image so I can incorporate it into my post.

I just upload mine to Photobucket and it happens automatically. Other than that I would use the free version of Photoshop to resize the pix. Just google it.

Assuming you are using your phone (A note 3 IS a portable computer) to take the pictures, set your camera to something like 800 x 600 and you will have suitable sized pictures for posting on a discussion board.

If you wish to resize photos you have already taken, Google Play Store has plenty of suitable apps, many are free and I saw a couple that would do batch conversions, but they did cost around $2.00. With the Google Rewards App, you should be able to scare up enough funds to cover such apps without being out of pocket. Just search for "Picture Resizer" and you should have plenty to choose from.

thanks for mentioning this....I for one would never have thought to go look in the playstore for a solution

I believe Picassa has a "size to" slider for their export function.

I had to set my monitor screen to 100% to see. I wish I had a way to organize as well as you. My area is cluttered with an electric tooth brush, paste; hair palmaide, Mr. Clean sponge; scrubbers, nail brush. a bar of soap, baby shampoo to clean my sleep apnia machine parts, and a hand soap dispenser and Vaseline Intensive care. I'd hate to post a picture of that and the large cabinet that houses shaving stuff as well as assorted tubes of rubs and skin creams , laxatives etc.
