Hello again!

Post by desertbadger »

David here (desertbadger). Been away for a long time, I know. Had multiple challenges to over come but all is going well at the moment. Still using the Schick Injectors, multiple DE, and of course, MWF! I hope all has been well with the people who remember me.
Regards,
David

Glad to have you back, David, and glad you overcame your challenges.

What you're using for your shaves is still as good as it ever was!

Welcome back.

Hi David ... always nice to have a wayward ... sheep ... returning to the fold.

Bad pun early in the AM ... sorry.

How often do you use MWF? The reason I ask is not so much about MWF, but I like to use up a soap or cream from start to finish when I can. I've used one puck of MWF and one Tabac through the years.

Hi Gary! Most of the time the weekly rotation is 3- 4 times for MWF. I never actually kept track of how long a puck lasts though. I do know my last order 3-4 years ago I ordered a dozen pucks and I still have 4 left. When I get to a reserve of 1 puck I place another order. The puck that's currently in use is kept in an air tight container, very similar to a large shaving mug with handle. It has a air tight seal so it never dries out or cracks. Actually, I do this for all my shave soaps and it works out very well.

Apparently there are a lot of guys who are very loyal users of MWF. When I first started using it, the scent was almost addictive. I would imagine smelling it at random times during the day. I gradually grew a little weary of it. The lather and post shave face feel are as good as any.
