Very good on hot buttered toast IMO. It's worth checking out the "XO" version as well. This is like the old stuff - thick and strongly flavored. The price premium is not a bog deal unless you use it every day. A jar lasts me for ages.

My three favourite (in no particular order):

1. Buttered toast, marmite and marmalade
2. Buttered toast, marmite, scrambled eggs with cilantro
3. Cheese sandwiches* - white bread, butter, marmite, old cheddar, raw white onion slices


* consume only when you know you will be solo for at least 48-hours...
