at a certain point it's simpler just to list things which aren't ingredients.

Save your money, guys. I tried this last night and was less-than wow'd. What a dissapointment. I was really looking forward to trying this cream but my spirits sank after the first use. They claim that you can generate a lather with or without a brush. I'm a brushless shaver so I applied it with my fingertips in the normal brushless fashion but as hard as I worked I was unable to produce any kind of a "lather". It just wasn't happening. Add a little more water ... still nothing. It basically goes on your face as a cream (very thin) but that's where it ends. There IS NO LATHER. You can spread it around with your fingertips but even that takes a lot of work. The slickness doesn't hold up either... I found myself having to constantly add water to my mug to try to keep some level of "slickness" going. The cream simply would not re-generate on my face no matter what I did. Very difficult to work with.

When you open the jar things look REALLY good. It appears to be a thick, white Noxzema-looking kind of cream. It's pretty much an unscented product but if you stick your nose in there and take a big whiff you'll definately notice an ever-so-slight hint of lavender. Everything looks and sounds great with this cream until you actually use it. I found it to be pretty useless, unfortunately. I happen to really like the Jack Black Beard Lube so I had really high hopes for this one. No such luck. Granted, I only used it once but once is all I need with this. They advertise this as "triple cushion shave lather" ... which is funny because there is no lather whatsoever.

Overall, this is really a dissapointment if you're a fan of Jack Black products. I use about 3 things from their line and I like them a lot but this was really a letdown. It doesn't do what it says it's going to do - produce a lather! Maybe Jack Black's idea of lather is different from mine and yours (folks on this forum) but whatever ... this stuff is a loser.

I think I will skip this product but I am looking forward to Jack Black's Tenacious D movie.
Dan
Daddy, why are you dipping the hampster in whipped cream?
It's not whipped cream, it's shaving cream.
Daddy, why are you shaving the hampster?
