Hi,

I am going on holiday soon and was thinking about getting a shaving soap stick, any recomendations from the usual suspects Trumpers, Taylors, T/H, DR Harris etc? I am big on sandalwood and almond.

Thanks

Raj.

Get one of the QED shave sticks. They're great for travel !!! Charles has a Sandalwood version that uses 100% Indian Sandalwood EO. Smells great and very effective.

Raj, I agree with Chris. I have tried other shave sticks but I like the QED sticks the best.

I would say that the QED shave stick is the best thing about travel. Compact, quick-lathering with no bother, fragrant as all get-out.

Rub it on your face in one fast pass, lather with a wet brush, and you're gloriously in business.

Cheers,

PASO,

I would second any of QED's sticks. If you like almond the DR Harris Almond stick is excellent too.

PASO, I've frequently taken my shave stick on trips over the last few years ( often also a small tube of Coate's cream ). I'm very partial to the D R Harris's Almond stick, an excellent shave soap. Personally, I did not care for the QED soap. Regards, Gordon

What I always advise chaps about any toiletry is simple, you must judge for yourself what is good and what is not. No single person knows what will please you, they can only speak about their own personal likes and dislikes. And believe me, there is no single toiletry out there everyone likes. Certainly it is wise to listen to everyone and if you see an abundance of negatives, then MAYBE you want to avoid a product. On the other hand, if you see a bunch of positives, maybe you shoudl try it. Don't give any single person's opinion more weight than other other person's.

This is NOT a sales pitch, just general guidance I give all my customers.

Regards,
Charles
