Stephen, Well, they have long winters up there you know. Not much to do except play chess, go ice fishing, and order shaving cream on the internet. 23 tubes of Palmolive?!......sheesh!

Happens. Ions ago, I found a tobacconist with 20 tubs, struck a deal with him and did a group buy. Great stuff. I will miss it sorely.

When I joined this forum in April 2007, I had 3 creams: TOBS Rose, TOBS Lavender and Florena. Since then my collection has grown exponentially:

TOBS Rose
TOBS Lavender
TOBS Avocado
TOBS shaving stick
Florena
KMF (something)
Proraso Green
Proraso Red
Proraso soap
Valbora
C&E Almond
Tabac
Body Shop cream
Musgo Real
Floris JF
Fraser's

On order (if I can ever contact the vendor to find out the status):

Erasmic
Ingram
Palmolive

About to be ordered/wish list:

Mitchell's Wool Fat
Mama Bears Attar of Roses
St Charles Oakmoss...
Speick
Harris - TBD
Peterman

Eventhough I regard this as a modest collection (particularly when I see Chris's and Jeff's), SWMBO seems to think my little grey cells have been damaged. To assuage her I'll probably relegate my two least favourite (Florena and KMF) to the bin when the new stuff arrives; these two creams are terrible performers, IMO, (heresay I know) and are using up valuable storage space not to mention SWMBO's goodwill. Have to have a few sacrificial lamps around, but once these two are gone there won't be any, as all the others are terrific.

Well, that a good collection, I think; about the size of mine.

I'm pretty happy with what I have now and have been cooling my aquistions the last few weeks. I'd still like to get something coconut scented and maybe that Valobra Menthol soap and a tub of sandalwood, should pretty much round things out for me. When the smoke finally clears, that would allow me to use a different cream every day for 30 days. Sick.

I have gotten really thin with my creams. I have dredges of The Body Shop, Florena, one Proraso green tub (used 3 times) and two never-opened C&E Sweet Almond Oil cream.

I am picking up some Mitchell's Woolfat soap in the next couple of weeks as well as some UK Palmolive green tube, Taylor's and Trumpers (not sure which ones yet - but probably only one tub each).

I have never been a guy to build a large stash, but here goes:

Creams:
Trumpers Rose
Trumpers Lime
Palmolive Classic (UK green tube)
The Body Shop (down to one 50ml travel sized tube now)
C&E Sweet Almond Oil (some of the last remaining SOA on the planet as far as I can ascertain)
C&E Nomad (one or two shaves left in a C&E sample jar)

Soaps
Mitchell's Woolfat (like, anyone surprised???)
C&E Sienna
C&E Sweet Almond Oil
Proraso green tub (some folks call it cream, but the tub is definitely a soap)
Gentleman's Quarter Leatherneck (never been used, still in wrapper - I have come to the conclusion that I don't like glycerin-based soaps)

Sticks
Palmolive Classic (from Tone in the UK - thanks a bunch)
Valbora (sample from Gareth - thanks a bunch X2)

As I say - not a large stash, but very substantial. I am looking to add one or two other soaps in time - a good lavender, and perhaps (only perhaps) a sandalwood.

I use almost exclusively soaps. Paradoxically, the net effect is that any creams I have tend to get stockpiled, which creates the misleading impression that the creams receive equal use.

FWIW -- my two favorites are Tabac soap and Harris Almond soap.

Anyway, here's my best recollection of what I have in the cabinet.

Soaps (I think that all are tallow-based hard soaps):

Harris Almond
Harris Arlington
Harris Lavender
Tabac
Williams
Palmolive stick
Erasmic stick
Valobra stick

Creams

T&H 1805
Palmolive (red tube)
Palmolive (Euro version)
KMF Vanilla
KMF Lavender
Nancy Boy
L'Occitane Cade Shave Soap
Barbasol (that's right . . . in a can)
