i am so proud of myself today, i may even run naked down the lane (no neighbours, the only ones i'd scare are the wild ponys!)
I have had a bowl of soap for about a year now, never used it, i thought cream would be easier! but after reading posts on here (squeezing brush, making an almost paste, etc etc) i had my first soap shave today, so luxurious and smooth. if it happens again for the next few days i think i may be a soap convert. so thanks chaps!!

i found it had a "fresher" and not quite as heavy smell as the crabtree and evelyn one that i threw away (but that could have been that it was several years old, 3/4 used, by my father, and all cracked up)!

To which "Harpic" were you referring?
1)Harpic (cleaning product), a cleaning product in Europe and other countries outside the United States.
2)Harpic (drink), a drink made with vodka, Kahlua coffee liqueur, Curaçao liqueur and lemonade

It smells better than Lysol, that's for sure.

Don't produce it in a squeezy bottle though, that'd be just plain wrong.

Damn! How did I miss this one?! Put me down for two cakes each of the HP and Bacon & Eggs soaps ( I'm going to melt them down and combine them into four custom scented numbers....should be superb! ). And also some Fog A/S......gotta have it! By Jove!...I LOVE olde Englysh stuff....don't I just!
