favorite Taylors cream scent

Post by TommyDawg »

I need to restock my cream supply and thinking of Taylors. Here's a quick survey question... List your top three favorite taylor shave creams (in order). Technically, I cant even give my top three, as I have only tried two scents at this point...

Rose
Almond
Lavender

I'm of fan of the classic English shave cream scents. Most to the cologne scented varieties from Taylors, and others, are too strongly fragranced for my taste.

Rose and lavender are my favorites from Taylor's. Unlike Gordon, I also enjoy the Eton College cream.

Avacado

I love Taylors. The best value in premium cream by far.

The only Taylor's shaving cream I've had access to was Avocado. It was wonderful lather, but the fragrance was pretty mild. Great stuff and a great shave, but I'd go with Gordon and the others regarding the best fragrances, if I were having to make a choice for a whole new tub of Taylors.

Rose followed distantly by Avocado and Lavender.

I'll be the one lone voice to say that Taylor Lemon & Lime is my favorite!

I had one remaining sample of Taylor's Avocado and used it this morning. The lather is beyond great. What a shave!

interesting! More replies favor the traditional scents. I was curious about the one called shave shop (?) but I do tend to like the old scents also. I may have to give almond a try. Good recommendations, folks!

So far I've only tried three, Almond, Avocado, and Lavender and like them all. :? I'm quessing that most of the Taylor scents are all pretty good so I would just pick what you like.

Jermyn Street. Yes, a softer texture type cream (cold cream) all natural type but I really do think, after all these years searching and using, it is just as fine as the 3 (older) T's, just add a bit more of that cream to the brush. A great smell with summer coming up and with a good brush/water ratio one can make this one work. I am a fan indeed.
