last of the stash

Post by malocchio »

I had 3 tubes of wonderful williams a few years ago,I used 2 and saved the last tube over a year.Today,I decided to break the last tube open, and with the first lathering,I remembered just how good this cream is.Nice, traditional barbershop scent, and plenty of it.A nice touch of menthol, about equal to proraso, and everything you could ask for in a lather.I really wish I had a few more tubes, but this one, thanks to sara lee,is gone forever.

Wait a second, Ron - I have that cream also. It's the Sensitive version, and I feel no menthol from it. The Menthol version has the green thing on it, not the pink! You're right though about the lather being super-rich with a lovely scent!

Gentlemen, savor what's left of your preferred poultices. The world is quickly changing.

A unique cream I think of as very modern in scent and formulation. I regret never trying the green label menthol, but the pink sensitive formula is wonderful and I'm glad I still have a little.

I can't bring myself to open the last tube of Noxcema....sigh. :(

......I feel the cooling effect................yes jeff,it really is super rich !...mine is the sensitive version , but I certainly feel a cooling sensation.there are no listed ingredients on my tube, which I believe was for belgian and french distribution....this really was a top notch performer...what a shame...

....,.......lanolite...if you are talking about the old Italian tube noxema cream, there is another sad sob story ....a real top flight cream, with great nourishing qualities....hated to see that one go,a real classic..

Yep, the Italian one. I guess I'm lucky to have any left at all.

Have vague memories of seeing this on the shelves of a supermarket somewhere recently. Perhaps in Barcelona... Places that stock it tend to have Williams/ Aqua Velva in the big glass bottles as well. SHould have bought some really

Gents,

You can still get this fantastic cream. It has to be Williams menthol (green tube). Best I have ever had.

Get it from denis.coirault@wanadoo.fr

He charges €2.70 per tube plus shipping.

You won't regret it. I buy 20 tubes at a time!!

Not for me I'm afraid, just don't care for menthol under my nose while shaving.
