Martin de Candre. It's a fantastic croap with a distinctive smell. Lathers like a champ. Love everything about it but the price and to me even that is ok.
My name is Patrick and I'm Proraso addict and love it!

Clive is sending me some original Coates Almond. I am looking forward to using it. I want to thank Clive for his generosity and kindness. And thanks again for all the suggestions. You gentlemen always have and always will ROCK!!!!!!

Taylor suggestions are a solid choice. I continue to pick up some of their cream with regularity. The price and quality make it an easy buy. I'm a one cream/aftershave kind of guy, and I have been using DR Harris Arlington for quite some time. Current supply is almost empty with a more likely than not reorder. That should mean something as I have Merz around the corner (I order DR Harris online as Merz is not a stockist).

You don't have to spend a lot to enjoy excellence.

Best all round soap is Valobra stick.

If money is no object, MdC or Acqua Di Parma.

I agree heartily with the first two sentences, but would have to have some time to figure out what I'd buy that might rival the performance of Valobra stick. I'm sure Valobra has peers. In my recent experiences, DR Harris and Haslinger tallow soaps are definitely there in the performance, and they do offer a variety of fragrances.

Another vote for MdC. It's really not much more expensive than the likes of MWF or DR Harris in their containers. You just have to man up to pay the shipping. Take the shipping out of the equation & MdC beats 'em all hands down. Keep the shipping in & factor the cost per shave & you'll really see just how good those 6 simple ingredients can be.

Roger, Yes, and their Marlborough scent ( to me ) is mainly cedarwood and sandalwood.
