Denim shaving cream - good, but not great stuff

Post by crackstar »

I received this Italian-made cream as a gift from a friend of mine at another forum and I used it recently so here's my review of it:

Ease of lathering: 10/10--Great that way. Rich lather very easily.

Longevity of lather: 10/10--Perfectly stable for multi-passes.

General skincare: 7/10--Lightly-mentholated. Not too moisturizing, however.

Scent: 7/10--Not really my type, but not too bad.

Price: N/A--As I said, it was a gift so I couldn't say how much it is.

Would I buy again: N/A--I really don't know. Maybe yes, maybe no.

Denim cream has been around a while and it's supposed to be popular in Italy, especially with younger wetshavers over there. It has excellent and stable lather, and it offers a mild, but pleasant cooling effect but the skincare should be improved. Some guys might enjoy the scent, but I seem to not be too impressed by it. It's a very no-frills and honest performer.

Never used the cream, but while overseas I tried the aftershave.I remember it was made either in Poland or Italy.Dried down to a kind of "cheapo" scent,I gave it away, but in fairness, todays Aqua Velva dries down the same for me.
