Today I used vintage Proraso Red, which for me is among the very best. In addition to fine lathering, its skin care is wonderful.

Vintage Williams Golden Yellow shaving cream. This makes very slick, slightly watery lather, and the skin care is great. My only complaint is that it smells just like old hand soap.

I finished a tube of vintage Coates Almond shaving cream this morning. It's an excellent cream, but I won't buy more, partially because I like stronger-scented creams but mainly because I'm leaning away from creams in general toward using just soaps.

Palmolive Classic Stick. Love the scent -- simple, clean and in it's own way, quite elegant, really. Finished off with Limes Skin Food today -- since it's getting a balmy -9C and rising.

Noxzema Original Cleansing Cream. It seems to work especially well with the Noxzema/Kai twin blade. They just go together well, and the results are remarkable.
