DR Harris Almond soap stick. Love the performance, but the jury is still out for me on the scent.

I know what you mean. I was pretty sure I could grow to enjoy that scent, but it didn't happen, unfortunately.

I used a Sultans Frankincense prototype, a free sample. It is actually soft enough to scoop out like a cream, which I did. Its lathering, cushion, and glide were adequate, the scent was pleasant, and its skin care properties were fantastic. I'm not sure I would buy it (depending upon size of container and price), but it provided an excellent shave.

Wendell, Really? I love the scent of that stuff, it's perhaps my favourite hard shave soap. VERY 'old school' to be sure...eau de quinine we finally realized.

I decided I enjoy the Marlborough more than the others from DRH.

Valobra 100 gm Fougére hard shaving soap.

Nice performer, pleasant but subtle scent.
