Gillette cream revival ??

Just in the past few years Gillette cream production,both tub and tube,has ceased in Lebanon,Europe and Argentina.....A friend just shot me a photo of some creams he purchased in Southern India.These are travel size,and brand new ,lemon and regular.He states the lather is fantastic.....Detective work going on now to see if there is also full size tubes being cranked out....Sure hope this pans out,it will be easier to get cream from India than Argentina for sure.. .

More good news...another Indian traditional shaver has now found 70 gram tubes of Gillette creams in Northern India,and yet the Gillette India website has neither size listed !!

I just ordered a tube of Gillette Menthol SC a couple of days ago. It's Italian made and 100g.I got it from the ShoeBox Shave Shop.

Interesting, Oscar. I got some of the Gillette menthol from Shoebox last year and it said Made in UK. Pretty sure it was old stock, though.

Menthol is all they have listed along with a note the regular has been discontinued.

Inventory of Gillette tubed creams made in Argentina remain available in Brazil,even though they have been discontinued over a year.

I recently finished a tube of the Gillette Menthol cream from Europe. Although it was definitely better to the Lebanese version which was also discontinued, it didn't really wow me so much.

BTW, I just received the Gillette SC, it's made in the UK.
