Does anybody know anything about Creamo Shave Cream? I saw some at Walmart today. Does it perform well? What kind of scent does it have?
Thanks,
Steve

1. Product name: Cremo Shave Cream
2. Country of origin: USA
3. Container size: 6 oz 177 ml plastic tube
4. Price: $6.75 Shaving Essentials
5. Cost per ounce: $1.13
6. Fragrance: Does it have a scent? Light citrus (Bergamot)
7. Texture: Describe the look and feel. White, thick lotion.
8. Protective: Does it protect against razor burn and chafing? Yes
9. Lubrication: Is it slippery? Did it help the razor slide smoothly? Yes
10. Efficiency: Does it do what was expected to help me shave? Yes
11. Endurance: Does it require reapplication during or between passes? No
12. Washable: Does it wash off face & razor easily afterward? Yes
13. Moisturizing: Does it add/restore moisture? Yes
14. Time elapsed: How long did it take to shave, from prep to cleanup? 9 min
15. Brush lather: Will a brush make it lather in a bowl? Yes
16. Brush cleanup: Does it easily rinse out of a brush? Yes
17. Did I enjoy the shave without a brush? Yes
18. Remarks: Marketed as “The Best”, brushless, and super lubricating. The directions recommend rubbing the product into the whiskers for 30 seconds before shaving. With this product my brushless shave was close, smooth, and well moisturized. The fragrance was mild and pleasant. When I was testing for brush lather I noticed that Cremo tends to respond quite well to the brush, so following the brushless trials, I’m going to give this product a couple of tryouts with a brush and a hot scuttle to see how it shaves through multiple lathering passes.

Hi Murray,
Thanks! I did find out it is a brushless shave cream. Your review says it can be lathered with a brush. Does that mean it will produce an average amount of lather? I like lather.

I didn't recall that detail until I read my review. You should get some and see for yourself. A few years ago I emailed the gent who owns Cremo, and I asked him about a mentholated version. At that time it wasn't under consideration, but just recently I saw a cooling version of Cremo on the shelves. I hope it will be a successful product for them.

Re: Creamo Shave Cream
Hi Steve -
Gary did the review in question, as well as those of other brushless creams. In my own experience, I found Cremo Cream easier for me to use when lathered with a brush. That isn't what its creators had in mind, so it obviously works well both ways.

Hi Murray,
Sorry i confused you with Gary! So you got a decent lather, using a brush?
