Time for something new

Post by Sam »

Growing a beard, so I shave every third day. Have some Coates Sandalwood I am finishing up, about half a tub. And then some Truefit Lavendar, about 80% left of a tub. I also have some Coates Limes tubes I just never use. The smaller ones.

Used to love Musgo Real, and thinking of that again. And I am reading up about Proraso. Loved Tabac also. Never knew why I never tried Proraso

So I am thinking of selling my creams and going with a soap and/or a tube.

Ideas? Leaning to old school like the Musgo, Tabac, Proraso

Erasmic
Arko
Cella

quite a few vintage soaps that would be nice and long lasting if that's the shave schedule you plan on.

Wickhams new soaps would be perfect as well.

Ordered a bowl of Tabac, the ceramic bowl. On Amazon it was $16, so I had about $4.00 in points and I bit

Thinking of one of the Musgo Reals.

I loved Tabac when I had it. Mine was a soap; not a cream.

Tabac, I find, is as polarizing as MWF. I think it's an excellent soap (haven't tried the cream) producing lather as good as any 2nd choice for me ----- MWF is still my favourite lathering product bar non. I think you'll find it a good product to use.

Found a seller on Ebay in Portugal. Got me two tubes of the regular scent Musgo Real shave cream for about $10.50 each, shipping included. About the cheapest I could find. And ordered 4 bars (160g each) of the Musgo Real bat soap for $13.33 combined, shipping included.

Also got a travel tub of Proraso

Did you buy the Klaus Brio Musgo Real or the one in the green wrapper which costs much more? I suspect Klaus Brio is a special line that is not the original, and I wonder if it is made by the original company.
