I've heard a rumor that the Art Of Shaving hard soaps (which used to be tallow based but have since been reformulated to veggie based that was a poor performer) have again been reformulated, with the current version being much improved. Can anyone confirm this?

I've asked around - nobody seems to have any news to report.

I'm still working on the old tallow stuff, which isn't bad, really. I rather like the peculiar scents.

One possible explanation for this mysterious rumor could be that someone has acquired one of the rare NOS tallow AOS soaps and mistakenly thinks they are something new? Just a guess.

Thanks to all for the feedback. To cut to the chase (ahem, pardon the joke), it seems to have been just a rumor without foundation.
