It's called Craftsman by Maurer & Wirtz, makers of Tabac. Reportedly available mid-July. Supposedly the full line, hopefully including shaving soap that performs as well as Tabac Original.

Craftsman? Hopefully cedar and leather...

Let's hope for a soap. Tabac released that other scent a few years back and was, I believe, deodorants and aftershave, cologne etc. A new tabac scentbto replace Irisch Moose would be perfect.

The scent profile is:

Top notes: grapefruit, bergamot, black pepper
Heart note: Lavender, Geranium oil, Tonka bean
Base note: vetiver, patchouli, leather

I think someone found this information on BaseNotes or some such website. I think some guys can figure out how something smells by reading lists like this, but I'm not one of them. I did see vetiver which I like, and then I saw leather, which is not my cup of tea.

Interesting. The Maurer and Wirtz site lists it as “a fragrance for the man who takes matters into his own hands.” Further down the page they list EDT, aftershave, shower gel and deodorant but unfortunately no soap. Clearly not “a fragrance for a man who has many vices.”

Unfortuatelly , no shaving soap (yet) : cologne , lotion , deodorant stick and spray and shower gel would be available.
