Gents--
I had an opportunity to try a sample of Dr. Hunter shaving cream (from Caswell-Massey) this morning.
The scent is very mild, clean and "soapy" smelling. It does not lather well at all: I used the entire sample to work up a lather (~0.5oz, about double the amount I need with my usual British creams--Trumper, T&H, Arran, etc.). However, the shave was pretty good--reasonably close and comfortable with no irritation on my sensitive neck.
Bottom line, a good shave but not the overall experience I'm looking for.
