I really like the scent of Brooks Brothers but am looking for something with a similiar scent but not as powdery. Would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks

Just to be clear, are you talking about the regular Brooks Bros. cologne or the Brooks Bros. 1818? I have no experience with the former. What's it like, gents? (I guess the obvious answer from this thread would be "like Taylor Sandalwood, but sweeter and more powdery")

Clark, there are some good ones out there that might work for you. It depends to some degree on how much you wish to spend. My favorite driest sandalwood scents are Lorenzo Villoresi Sandalo followed by Diptyque Tam Dao, but there's no assurance that either one would work for you. Frankly, I like 1818 as much as either of the two and it costs a lot less.
