Interested in mass quantities of Bay Rum?

What kind of fragrances do you prefer?

Holy Toledo!

So has anyone tried Gabel's Bay rum? I wonder how it is different from the others.

It's a lot like the Lustray or (classic) Lucky Tiger Bayrums. A bit too chemically synthetic for my tastes.

Thanks Rob. I can imagine that in hot humid climates a guy might want to splash it all over himself on a really humid day.

Years ago I bought shampoo at a warehouse club in a similar jug. I still have it!

Gotta love those wholesale stores.

On a secondary note, does bay rum actually make one feel less disgusting in hot and humid weather? I have yet to find anything other than talcum powder to achieve this, and I hear that gives you cancer (especially the ladies). I live in South Louisiana, and it's hot and humid all year long, and the summers are the worse.

Milo, I grew up in New Orleans.

If I still lived there, I think I would give it a try and splash a lot of watered down bay rum over my upper body. I think it would help.

David, I'm in Tampa.

Nothing helps. Well, talc slows it down a bit, but that's about all. Bay rum or Florida Water, thanks to the alchohol, cools you off a tad, but you'll go right back to feeling moist in no time.

Heck, it is so hot down here we have a Scrapyard Ape that is in to body shaving! :P
