Lesser-known Pinaud

Post by Odio Barbillas »

After today's rinse and witch hazel splash, I tried something new. I put on Ed. Pinaud's Citrus Musk E-d-C.

Hm. It burned about as much as their notorious bay rum. The similarity ended there. The first whiff smelled not a little bit of wet dog. I remember a cousin's Olde English Sheepe Dogge after she got soaked in a storm. Sort of like that.

Oh no, says I. But within a few minutes it toned down a bit and has left me with a pleasant scent hours later.

Thank goodness. I was not looking forward to buyer's remorse as I sought this stuff specially. It does not appear on store shelves in metro NJ/NY. I'm a happy fellow. :D Again. So far. Tomorrow: E.P.'s Special Reserve ...

I recently PIFd a nearly new bottle of Pinaud Citrus Musk i had picked up at a local B&M barber supply. It was OK, I just didn't use it.

No "Essence of Bowser" to your nose? 8) I like the stuff, but it took me by surprise for a second there ...
