Pricey, but Bond No. 9 Sandalwood is good

Post by Sam »

I was in Nieman Marcus smelling scents and a lady offered me a spray sample of Bond No 9's Sandalwood cologne. Said it was a soliflore, whatever that means, and I am guessing that is a one note scent or a scent constructed to make it seem like one note. One, I like a scent to project and I like it to last and this one does not disappoint. More lasting than most anything else, and then it has a lot of projection for 30 minutes and is more than a skin scent for well into 7 or 8 hours and still going strong, but it is not a beast. It is pricey however. Not a harsh sandalwood and to my nose, one of the better ones.

That's got my interest Sam, and gives me an excuse to visit Nieman's.

It's good to know you like this fragrance. I hear it has some interesting notes like carrot & papaya, were you able to detect them at all?

No but then again my sense of smell is not all that great. Said to be supported by fig and if I leave my nose next to the skin I think I can trick myself into detecting it.
