Arrived today.

2 Omegas. Small one is 72mm/19mm knot. Simpson Milk Churn (best). Simpson Emperor 1 (super)

Hey Randy.....

The sad fact is that I have 62 brushes now and probably will add some more.

Even so, Peter (DrP) is approaching the 100 mark with his brush collection. Physician heal thyself(as well)

Saturday night I ordered the same two Omega brushes on the left. I will use the small one for a travel brush.

Any comments on the quality of the badger hair? The site I purchased from lists as pure badger while the second from the left appears to be the same as one listed on Em's Place as silvertip.

Does the Milk Churn have the "eavestrough" around the top like the Tulips?

Richard, The Tulips are Super Badger, sometimes even true Whites, of late. The Milk Churns are Best Badger.

That's interesting, since to my eye, the Milk Churn appears to have a wider knot. Em's place lists the knot size of the MC at 21mm.

Em's measurement is incorrect, at least as far as my MC is concerned. Actual measurement is just a hairsbreath under 23mm.

edit: Make that right at 23mm for the MC while the T3 is just a hairsbreath under 23mm. Essentially the same knot size for both.

Steve's Milk Churn looks like it will fill those Harris soap bowls just right. It's been confirmed the T3 works well I think even with those smaller bowls. Great to see the conversation turn towards the handles once again. The Simpson handles are quite unique in shape and form.
