ok cool. I shouldn't have a hard time coming up with that, but I'd need some notice...just as long as it isn't a $100 next week deal..

Joel - While I would love another brush. I cannot because I am trying to save money for law school. Maybe later.

What are the final specs that you are going with?

Joel,

While I don't need another brush I am not opposed to adding to my collection. I would prefer to wait until a final design is settled on and see if it tickles my fancy. I would have to guess that there a few more posters that would fall into this category. Good luck with the process and thanks for taking it on. I am sure that you will be able to tempt me with your final decision.

Joel,

I am confirming to you that I have seen the list, and I'm glad to see that I'm on it :)

Please keep us informed as to when, where, and how (Payment) will be required.
Thanks for taking the time to put this together.

Also confirming.

This "special edition" brush is the only way I'll be able to talk my wife into letting me get another...

Thanks,
Andy

Very smart, as you want to get a definitive minimum number in order to calculate cost.

So for now I guess I'm not to be added, because I can't say Yes absolutely. But I thought I'd post, because I'm in agreement with John's entry from a few above -- I too would like to see the final specs/choices/etc. But if I like what I see -- and I'm pretty sure I will -- I'll want to jump on the list at that time. Just making sure we'll have that option. I say, we, because I think the list is going to balloon once the specs come out. Thanks.

Sounds great! Yeah, that was exactly my worry: That you might start with 50 or so confirmed, then release the specs, turn around and find 200, or more, signed up! (These numbers are of course totally arbitrary. I'm not basing them on anything. The actual "bump" might be significantly smaller -- or bigger!)

But I guess, if you specified a specific day/time by which everyone had to confirm once the specs/options are released, that should work. Something on the order of 1 to 2 days after the specs come out. Just a thought.

Ideally, you, Bernd and all involved would be prepared for an initial run that was anywhere from 50-200, or more...

Thanks again for running with this. Great idea!

i am still in. However, as others have stated, it would be great to have some sort of a "last call" before making a final commitment.

I understand the concern of too many people jumping in at the end. However, once the spec's and costs have been determined, it would seem to me that adding extra gents before a final order was placed would just make the per brush cost go down. If it means a slight delay in the time to actually produce the brushes, I'm sure that all interested would be okay with a slight dealy.

By the way, I like the idea of "smf" rather than shavemyface.com. The initials seem a bit more elegant.
