26 is cool for me too, long as the bristles are still packed dense and firm.

I think 26 is big enough. The SR230 I have now is a 26 and is plenty big and I can't see the need for anything bigger.

Since everyone is saying 26mm i voted for 26mm as well; i havent tried 26 or 28 so i have nothing to compare against... But, as long as it is packed densly i dont mind. I currently use the cheapest brush that Charles has to offer ($25) and im not sure what its size is... But, its not very dense...

I'm hoping you guys are more experienced than i in this regard and am more than willing to trust your judgement ;)

26mm here, too.

At a wide-blooming 26mm, my current brush is plenty large, so I'm definitley leaning away from 28mm.

26mm is my vote.
I already have a Shavemac Silvertip with a 25mm knot, and it is plenty big enough for me. :)

26mm for me . . . I think 28 would be just too big for my face.

I voted for a 28mm. Other than for my traveling brush, it would be the smallest knot in my shaving kit.

26 for me. My current is 20mm (Vulfix 2197), so anything bigger will feel like the utmost luxury. Why not go less expensive then? :-D
