i think #3 in ebony with a nickel base, engravings on the cap, year made and "smf" with my name on the bottom would make me pretty happy. the shape has alot of character, and is classy at the same time. either way i'll be a proud owner of a brush that we designed.

joel, keep up the hard work!

Agreed, I can live with either 1 or 3, I like them both pretty equally.

my photochop skills can't put an octogonal design on the handle but you get the idea.

I voted #3, but it wasn't clear that it had an octagonal part on the base. I don't like octagonal at all. So, I dunno anymore.

from what i understood the base will be circular, but the ebony piece would start out rounded on the bottom, then turn to octogonal, then to round again at the knot.

Growler,
I think Robofunk has described it as I envision it. [-o<
Take a look at:
http://www.shavemac.com/index.php?lang= ... &prod_id=4
Think a liitle smaller, ebony, and nickle base cap.
Tell me what you think after that.

Ron

i dont care which one the group decides, i am easy that way. i do like the personalization, and since my full name has only nine letters, id prefer that rather than my screen name

Joel,

Is there any easy way to produce a clearer photo of what choices # 1 and 3 will ultimately look like?

I think that I understand your descriptions, but photos would be much clearer.
Produce great people, the rest follows.

That is the way I understood it. Makes sense to me.

#3 is round on the nickel part, then immediatly on the ebony is octagonilized down to the bristle.
This was my understanding as well - and one of the reasons I voted for #3.
