Gents-- I recently got a co-worker of mine interested in wetshaving, and he's taken to it like I did...with a passion. I gave him samples of the creams I have and a drug store boar brush so he could try them and he quickly learned the joys of wetshaving. He has since bought some creams and gear for himself.
So anyway...this past weekend he was at his parents house and came across some shaving gear of his grandfathers. Among other things was a Rooney badger brush!! Arrrgh!

Talk about some people having all the luck. The only reason I ordered a persian Jar was because I started with a DE and needed a high end badger to satisfy my curiosity and requirement. You will have to offer to clean up the brush for him with some borax and see how well it holds water!
If you can get a photo of this elusive brush online I am sure that it will be very much appreciated by all of us here with brush envy!

"Attend the Tale of Sweeney Todd
His skin was pale and his eye was odd,
he shaved the faces of gentlemen who never
there after were heard of again. He trod a path
that few have trod, did Sweeney Todd,
The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
